About Us

Calvary Lutheran Church is part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). Founded in 1966 in Apollo Beach, Calvary has been a beacon of hope to southern Hillsborough County for decades! Our big outreach programs are:
Community Cupboard: we distribute food through our food pantry every Tuesday from 7:30am-10:00am.
Angel Attic: our thrift store has great and unique finds and all the profits go toward purchasing food for the Community Cupboard.
Calvary Church: We have church services every Sunday, as well as multiple events going on at any given time, some specifically for our members, and some open to the entire community!
Oasis Columbarium, Memorial Wall, and Labyrinth: Calvary has it's open columbarium and memorial wall that's open to the whole community. There's also a beautiful outdoor paved labyrinth and fountain.
